Mercury Scrubber for Manchester, NH
EnviroCare International is working with Industrial Furnace Company to supply a MercuryPak mercury scrubber to the City of Manchester in New Hampshire. The City of Manchester’s sewage sludge incinerator processes sewage waste from Manchester and three neighboring communities. Incineration of sewage sludge results in emissions of various pollutants, including mercury. EnviroCare is proud to participate in these important air pollution control upgrade projects. The City of Manchester, N.H., will install equipment to limit the amount of mercury pollution emitted from a city-owned incinerator under an agreement between the city, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Justice.
